Description | Interviews with A. Rufus Tonelson, principal of Maury High School during the crisis, and Mark Schweitzer, the son of Paul Schweitzer, that describe the events of the school closings in 1958-1959. These interviews were conducted on December 9, 1975 (Tonelson) and November 16, 1977 (Schweitzer). Part of the Oral History Collection in that these interviews were compiled during research for the various university histories. |
